Since then\, we have grown to over 500 members throughout North American\, Europe\, and even in Japan. We are one of the largest rug hooking guilds in the world! \nWe are a volunteer run non-profit organization (no paid staff) dedicated to education about the art and craft of rug hooking. \nWe fulfill our mission through a variety of programs. Our goal is to promote the craft of rug hooking through exhibitions\, instruction and education. We hold a biennial exhibition (“Hooked in the Mountains”) open to the public showcasing the work of our members. Rug hooking workshops are offered during the course of our exhibit. \nAlso\, our members volunteer to teach rug hooking for various organizations and community groups. The Guild provides the tools and material.
